Mr. Joaquín Sabaté Muñoz opened in 1993 this pharmacy with the name of Farmàcia Sabaté. This first opening took place in Avinguda Barcelona 43 of Miami Platja.

It was not until 1999 that the pharmacy moved to its current location in Plaza Tarragona 8. It was subsequently remodeled and expanded to adopt its current interior image in 2004.

The current name, Farmàcia Miami, was adopted in 2016 coinciding with the exterior remodeling of the façade.
